I just wanted to say that it’s been really helpful to have a resource for Taiwanese lyrics online. It’s often hard to find Tai-Lo or even Hanji as many lyrics often take directly from the Mandarin subtitles. It’s also just been helpful in the course of learning Taiwanese.

I’m in the process of getting albums by 川秋沙, 謝銘祐, 夕陽武士, and 張三李四 done, but I’m always looking for new and exciting projects, and I’m always open for suggestions. I try to stick with more modern Taiwanese songs but I’m not adverse to the idea of trying my hand at a few older songs if people are interested.

I came across another blog that had Taiwanese song lyrics(the blogger goes by Taiwanese Divo) http://taiwanesedivo.blogspot.com/. It has a few of the modern bands listed here(Mayday, Fire Ex), but also some older artists.
I’m probably nowhere near fluent, but I do live in Taiwan and this project has really started to give me a better grasp of the language. Good looking out with that other site! I’m doing my best to get as much modern stuff up here as possible, but it’s a slow process, and I’m starting to run out of bands! At some point I may have to go the way of Divo and start delving into more classical artists.
I couldn’t believe this was a one-man project. So comprehensive with high quality lyrics. Thank you very much for sharing!

I checked out that link you sent and I thought the site was pretty cool. If only I could talk the KKBox into getting all these romanized lyrics into their library for use at KTVs!
