Learning Taiwanese Through Music
When I first moved to Taiwan, I instantly fell in love with the music. The only problem was, it was almost impossible to find lyrics in a format I could actually read and understand. After years of scouring the internet for lyrics, I finally gave up the search and decided to take the task of transcribing Taiwanese lyrics upon myself. The result of which is this here website.
Most of the songs on this page are relatively “modern” in the sense that they are more rock/indie oriented. At times I may choose to post a few classic songs, but I feel most of the important traditional style songs are readily available elsewhere. Instead this site boasts a near complete collection of 伍佰‘s (Wu Bai) Taiwanese catalog, as well as harder to find albums like those by 滅火器, 董事長 and others…
It is my hope that through this site you will fall in love with Taiwanese music much in the way that I myself have. Enjoy!

我搬到臺灣的時候，我很快就愛上了台語歌，可是過了一會就出現一個很大的問題，我每次去看演唱會，就沒辦法跟其他粉絲一起唱著副歌， 我兩年多一直在尋找正確的台語歌詞，但是無濟於事，後來決定如果真的要學台語歌的話，我應該是要自己動手去轉錄，於是這個網站正是我努力的結果。
這個網站上po的歌詞都是比較現代或是搖滾的歌，因為很多台語經典隨時可在其他網站找到。當然不只有伍佰的所有的台語歌，也包括很多其他歌手或樂團的台語歌，例如：滅火器(、董事長、五月天等等。
希望大家可以透過這個網站深深地愛上台語歌，就像我愛上台語歌一樣。享受吧！
